THE FIRST OF IT'S KIND!
The Worlds first Virtual Munzee?
I believe that this was the first 'virtual' type Munzee. Unsurprisingly other players saw the opportunity for points and deployed their own. This created a sub-game where virtual owners received e-mails from all over the World and began to climb the Leader Board. Unsurprisingly Team Munzee decided that this aspect of their game was not what they had in mind when creating and developing the game. It has therefore imposed restrictions on Virtual Munzees - I welcome the restrictions. I have therefore 'retired' this Munzee and will only deploy it at meets, or when it is appropriate
I apologise for all of the angst and controversy caused, but am pleased that the Official Virtual Munzee is on it's way into the game!
And now it is a part of Munzee history. Post Code (Card) Read has been archived and Official Virtual Munzees are on the map. I am a little unsure as to how these will be a part of the game and hope that Team Munzee re-visit these in a few months time to alter and amend the rules where appropriate.
